The story of Resistance: Chaos-Tol's Bane, Book 1 (Chaos - Tol's Bane) is deeply personal, born from a conversation with my daughters—Charlotte, Stephanie, and Rachael—about the timeless debate of Nature vs. Nurture.
These discussions on how our environment shapes us led to the exploration of these themes in a medieval world, where survival is often determined by the harshness of the environment.
That’s how Resistance: Chaos-Tol's Bane, Book 1 (Chaos - Tol's Bane) came to life.
The moniker C.S.R. Keeley is a tribute to my daughters, who I lovingly refer to as my 'Gargoyles'—strong, resilient, and always watching over me.
They are also the muses for the female protagonists in the story, with characters that embody their strength and perseverance.
This book is as much their story as it is mine.
