Writing fantasy isn’t just about crafting epic tales; for me, it’s a reflection of my own life, memories, and the love I’ve had for the genre since I was young. So today, I’m inviting you to come along as I open up about what led me here and what fuels the world of Resistance.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to epic landscapes, ancient legends, and the thrill of a good adventure. Sharing this passion with my siblings and daughters over the years kept that spark alive and even pushed me to write stories of my own. Life’s thrown a lot my way, and seeing how things change—and how we change with them—has had a big impact on the themes in Resistance. The characters’ journeys reflect my own belief that our surroundings shape who we are, even when we don’t realize it.

And a bit about me personally? I’m a creature of habit. I like my routines, and I’ve yet to find a reason to upgrade my phone! But maybe that’s part of why I love writing fantasy—it's a chance to build worlds where things are a bit more timeless.
