The journey of storytelling often leads us down unexpected paths. While crafting Resistance, I found myself drawn to the timeless narratives of Indian mythology, particularly the tale of Arjuna. Like the willow that bends with wisdom, these ancient stories carry truths that transcend time and culture.

In the Mahabharata, Arjuna's struggle with duty and destiny mirrors the core conflicts that shape fantasy literature. His relationship with Krishna speaks to that eternal dance between mortal choice and divine purpose - a theme that resonates deeply within the fantasy genre, where characters often grapple with forces beyond their understanding.

The beauty of these mythological threads lies in their universality. Whether in ancient Indian epics or modern fantasy, we find characters wrestling with questions of loyalty, power, and sacrifice. These themes echo through the corridors of time, speaking to readers across cultures and generations.

As a storyteller, I've found that these ancient narratives offer profound insights into the human experience. They remind us that at the heart of every tale, whether set in the shadows of the Red Range mountains or the battlefields of Kurukshetra, lies the eternal struggle to understand our place in a world shaped by forces both seen and unseen.

In weaving these universal threads into modern fantasy, we create bridges between past and present, between East and West, between the mythical and the personal. This is the power of storytelling - to connect, to illuminate, and to remind us that some truths remain constant across all boundaries of time and space.
